We are excited that two UpStart Maine programs are hosting significant, virtual events for entrepreneurs this month, both funded by Machias Savings Bank grants!

 

+Blitz, the Bangor area’s entrepreneurship conference, is hosting a special, no-cost, half-day, online conference on July 23rd. The conference will provide an opportunity for Maine business owners to connect with other business owners and get a quick infusion of actionable items, out of the box ideas, and overall support that can help them navigate these challenging and quickly changing times. Register

 

+Big Gig is hosting a virtual, COVID-19 Edition of their Big Gig Pitch-Off on July 28th for Maine companies who pivoted or were founded due to COVID-19. They will be giving a total of $5000 to three finalists, and the deadline to apply is next Tuesday, July 14th. Apply or RSVP

Neuright, a Top Gun Statewide Showcase winner and University of Maine spinoff, has been awarded a $225,000 National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to continue their work on the early diagnosis and treatment of peripheral neuropathy. Read More     

 

Flagsuit, a Top Gun alum, was recently featured in Mainebiz for their assistance in designing spacesuits for NASA and SpaceX's recent launch. Read more
